DSC_7637Fjordland wir kommen, ob du in Wolken hängst oder nicht! Und wer hat uns dort erwartet – Sandflies natürlich. Die gibt es ja in Neuseeland vielerorts aber an manchen, meist sehr schönen Plätzen, da herrscht einfach eine Überpopulation dieser Quälgeister, da willst fast nicht im Campingstuhl sitzen und die Landschaft genießen.

Te Anau war unser erster Stop und hier sind wir das andere Ende oder den anderen Anfang (je nachdem wo man beginnt) vom Routeburn Track gewandert. Dann gings weiter auf die Milford Road und dort erwartete uns ganz schön viel Regen, aber auch ein bisschen Sonnenschein. Unsere Wanderung zum Key Summit war zwar leider nicht von weiter Aussicht gekrönt aber es kann ja nicht immer die perfekte Fernsicht sein. Zum Milford Sound sind wir dann aufgrund der Wolken nicht mehr gefahren aber die Tour, die wir gemacht haben, war trotzdem wunderschön. Überfall blühen violette, rosa und gelbe Lupinen und dann auch noch die gelb blühenden Büsche zwischen den grünen und grauen Bäumen, afoch a Wahnsinn, das kann man gar nicht auf einem Foto festhalten.

Auf unserer Weiterfahrt haben wir dann noch Halt beim Lake Manapouri gemacht. Na dort gibts ja mal nen echt einzigartigen Campingplatz. Die Hausdame, um die 81. Jahre jung, einen Schmäh nach dem anderen auf den Lippen und vielleicht die ein oder andere Sammelleidenschaft, aber nicht das du glaubst um 23:30 Uhr Licht aus bitte, weil eigentlich ab 22:30 Uhr Nachtruhe, die Türen vom Berta-Mobil könnten ja die anderen Camper stören.

    Ich wünsche euch frohe Weihnachten und hoffe, ihr habt den 24. heuer besonders toll gefeiert!

    Wir wünschen Euch ein gutes, neues Jahr und weiterhin viel Spaß auf Eurer Weltreise.
    Bei uns in Wallsee ist es eisig kalt und rutschig und wir haben Schnee (ist auch heuer wieder weiß). Ohne Dich Daniel hat die Strassermannschaft NICHT beim Preisschnapsen gewonnen.
    Unsere 2 Enkerl brauchen Mädels zum Spielen – also schaut´s dazu – vielleicht passt´s ja auch wie beim Pölzi (hihi)

    Die Gemeinderatswahl kommt immer näher, daher viel, viel Arbeit wo wir Deine Hilfe brauchen könnten. Ich habe mich an den letzten Platz setzen lassen und rechne damit, dass so viele SPÖ-Mandate in den Gemeinderat kommen…………
